Unreciprocated Love
Have you ever encountered a person who sent you mixed signals in love?
Kully Asks Nancy for Relationship Advice:
“I met this girl three years ago and we seem to have hit it off the first time we met each other. After a few months she began to drift away from me, but me I fell for her in a big way. She made me her friend and I have to accept that or lose her. Everyday I dream about her and I know if she finds someone else I will not want to live. I have offered her everything a girl can wish for but she says we can only be friends. What gets me is that she cooks for me and invites me around and we hug each other and do kiss, but not a deep kiss just pecks here and there. I love her so much it's affecting my job now. What should I do? She is my soul mate.”Nancy’s Relationship Advice:
Dear Kully,It is so heartbreaking when the love we send out to another person is not returned in the same manner. She appears to care for you, but as she has clearly stated she cares for you as a friend only. Eventually, she will find someone she loves romantically. When that day comes, it will be difficult for you to accept if you continue fantasizing that she may change her mind about you if you give her enough time.
Your true soul mate will be a woman who loves you back and wants to share her life with you. The underlying issue that needs to be addressed is why you are attracted to someone who is unavailable to you. When you have taken that courageous step towards discovering the core beliefs about love that have brought you to this place, you will be on the right path towards love with your true soul mate.
