Thinking Right Thoughts and Speaking Right Words
To you ever think about what you are saying over your love life?
If you are like many people I have worked with over the years, the answer is a resounding “no.” Many times people believe that when they joke about their relationship choices that it is in a kidding mode ... they say they don’t really believe what they say. It is my experience that it does matter a great deal what you say - no matter what your intention. The more you speak negativity over your love life, the more likely you will experience exactly what you have been joking about in relationships. If you say, “I only attract married men” or “all the good ones are taken” then you are in essence setting the stage for that exact experience to happen to you.
You may believe that your thoughts and words do not play an important role in the type of person you end up attracting, but that is the furtherest thing from the truth. As in any other life goal, your focus takes you to that place - and that is especially true in love.
My challenge to you this week is to take note of the times you are thinking and speaking negativity over your chances in love. You may be surprised at how often you are not in sync with the desires of your heart.
