“I sought the LORD, and he answered me; He delivered me from all my fears.” Psalm 34:4 (NIV)

1) Today I will read my affirmation list and/or listen to my affirmation recording.
Each day is a new beginning and a reminder of the dreams and relationship goals God is bringing to me.
Scripture Reflection:
So brace up your minds; be sober; set your hope wholly and unchangeably on the divine favor that is coming to you when Jesus Christ is revealed. – 1 Peter 1:13 (Amplified)

2) Today I will start the day acknowledging I am a child of God.
I completely accept that I am not the hurt child of my past, but a new creation in Christ who died for my sins.
Scripture Reflection:
Therefore if any person is in Christ he or she is a new creation; the previous moral and spiritual condition has passed away. Behold, the fresh and new has come! – 2 Corinthians 5:17 (Amplified Bible)

3) Today I will be balanced.
I free my mind of all negative thoughts and words that block the unconditional love God wants me to experience in an emotionally healthy relationship.
Scripture Reflection:
For the rest, brethren, whatever is true, whatever is worthy of reverence and is honorable and seemly, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely and lovable, whatever is kind and winsome and gracious, if there is any virtue and excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think on and weigh and take account of these things and fix your minds on them. - Philippians 4:8 (Amplified Bible)

4) Today I will chose to be responsible for each decision I make and not blame others for anything that happens.
I know God has equipped me for any and everything that appears in my path today and gives me courage and strength to face each situation head on. I do not pretend or wish away challenges, but instead embrace them knowing with God all things are possible, even if I don’t see a way from my limited viewpoint.
Scripture Reflection:
Wait and hope for and expect the Lord; be brave and of good courage and let your heart be stout and enduring. Yes, wait for and hope for and expect the Lord. – Psalm 27:14 (Amplified Bible)

5) Today I will be forgiving.
I know it is through the precious love of Jesus that I am forgiven for my sins and choose not to be judgmental towards anyone I encounter today. I know that it is only through the grace of God that my soul is at peace and His love is all around me.
Scripture Reflection:
Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, clamor, and evil speaking be put away from you, with all malice. And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God in Christ forgave you. - Ephesians 4:31-32 (NKJV)

6) Today I will be accepting of others.
I sow the seed of acceptance in order to reap the harvest of acceptance in my life. By Jesus’ example, I strive today to be loving and kind to my fellow brothers and sisters.
Scripture Reflection:
So then, let us not be like others, who are asleep, but let us be alert and self-controlled. But since we belong to the day, let us be self-controlled, putting on faith and love as a breastplate, and the hope of salvation as a helmet. - 1 Thessalonians 5:6,8

7) Today I will stay in an attitude of faith.
I will be vigilant and guard each thought that enters my mind and diligently cast out all negativity that tries to keep me from the desires that God placed in my heart. I claim my inheritance as a child of God!
Scripture Reflection:
For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. – Jeremiah 29:11 (NIV)

8) Today I will prepare to receive my blessings.
As it is written, I am blessed and cannot be cursed and actively seek the goodness and blessings God has in store for me today. I boldly accept each blessing, not out of arrogance, but from the unconditional love I know my Father in Heaven has for me.
Scripture Reflection:
The LORD will bless me and keep me; the LORD makes his face shine upon me and be gracious to me; the LORD turns his face toward me and gives me peace. - Numbers 6: 24-26 (NIV)

• I will not gossip.
• I will not be sarcastic or critical.
• I will be polite.
• I will remember that all I do is for the kingdom of God –not for my employer but for His will be done in my life.
Scripture Reflection:
Remember this: he who sows sparingly and grudgingly will also reap sparingly and grudgingly, and he who sows generously will also reap generously and with blessings. - 2 Corinthians 9:6 (Amplified Bible)

10) Today I will watch for forerunners.
I will actively seek the blessings which may appear as seemingly out of the blue events and circumstances. I know that those are messages from God that He is smiling on the faith I have in His promises for my day and future.
Scripture Reflection:
I am the vine; you are the branches. If a man remains in me and I in him, he will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing. – John 15:5 (NIV)

11) Today I will maintain an open mind.
I will not put God in a box and only accept His promises in the packaging I choose. I am open to all possibilities and know that God is a 24/7, supernatural God and is working on my behalf day and night regardless of what I see in my limited vision.
Scripture Reflection:
For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are My ways higher than your ways and My thoughts than your thoughts. - Isaiah 55:9 (Amplified Bible)

12) Today I will review my progress.
Before the end of the day, I will journal my progress and review areas I need to work on. I will keep in perspective where I have come from and how greatly I have healed with God’s grace. I will not be self-condemning but mindful of the areas I need to maintain diligence to overcome.
Scripture Reflection:
I have told you these things, so that in Me you may have perfect peace and confidence. In the world you have tribulation and trials and distress and frustration; but be of good cheer; take courage; be confident, certain, and undaunted! For I have overcome the world. I have deprived it of power to harm you and have conquered it for you. – John 16:33 (Amplified Bible)
