Becoming an Author

Nancy's experiences as a matchmaker provided a great deal of insight and knowledge regarding the challenges many have in meeting and attracting the right person. "Believe me, there's not much I haven't heard or seen when it comes to dating and relationships." commented Nancy. She adds that listening to the relationship challenges of others was enlightening in the universal desire her clients shared to meet the right person and be in a mutually fulfilling committed relationship.


She also learned that when a person does not work through the pain and heartbreak of the past, the next relationship will suffer significantly and generally will repeat a former relationship pattern. Most people were carrying an enormous amount of hurt from failed love and naturally believed a new relationship would take away past pain and heartache. They wanted to divert their attention away from the pain and believed by not looking at the past, it would eventually go away. Most believed, like many who have faced loss, heartbreak and sorrow in love that those feelings were too dark, and too emotionally draining. However, the key to love is learning from the past, healing those wounds and bringing suppressed feelings out in the open.


Another revelation was the discovery that many people lacked positive relationship role models from their formative years, which strongly influences who one attracts. That person would be most strongly attracted to people who set off a relationship pattern learned early in life which mirrored what they believed love looked and felt like emotionally. Also, their core belief concerning how they expected to be treated in a relationship was mirrored from those formative years.


From her matchmaking experiences, it became Nancy's passion to help as many people as possible develop strong relationship skills, heal from past negativity and experience lasting love. Her books detail a practical, step-by-step method based on Christian principles detailing how to build a solid foundation in which a lasting, connected and fulfilling relationship can be attained.
